Nutrimetics Update – Where Am I?

I must admit I’ve been a little slack in updating this site, but I have a really good excuse – I’m pregnant!

Yes in the beginning I didn’t feel like writing because of the morning sickness and now my tummy is too big to fit behind the desk.

But if you still want to get the monthly Nutrimetics brochure specials be sure and sign up to the right. I only send one email a month and you can unsubscribe at any time.

I really should get back into writing reviews and I promise I will.

Baby is due is 3 weeks so I might be a little busy during the next few months but I will try and get back to it soon.

In the meantime take care.

(Oh P.S. I’ve been using the Nutri-Rich Oil on my tummy and haven’t got any stretch marks so far! fingers crossed).

Nutrimetics Sun Days After Sun Moisturiser Review

While I’m a huge fan of Summer, one thing I don’t like much is getting burnt. The Nutrimetics Sun Days After Sun Moisturiser fills the role of both soothing sun burn and prolonging your tan.

But what is the product actually like and is it any good?

I first noticed that it absorbed into the skin quickly and was very cooling (which I guess is because of the mint and chamomile in it).

It has a subtle herby scent which is not at all overpowering and is quite pleasant.

I found it quite moisturising which is good considering the lotion is quite light and would probably use this as a regular body moisturiser in summer months (you would need something heavier in winter – obviously).

I applied it after a bath and it seemed to absorb into my drier areas such as elbows and knees much faster than my arms or legs, but it didn’t take much massaging in for it to disappear completely.

Afterwards I felt refreshed and relaxed.

Now at the time I was not burnt, but I can see that it would be refreshing for sunburnt skin as well.

It’s safe to use for the whole family and even on children aged 1 and up.

The main ingredients are Sage Leaf, Mint Balm, Chamomile Extracts and Aloe Leaf Juice.

Nutrimetics nc Ocean Sands Colour Collection & nc Ocean Sands Lip Crayon Duo

13995_Ocean_Sands_Coffret2_DE_150x150If you were reading the This Is Beauty e-magazine that came out on 20th November, you might have noticed that they did a product showcase on our very own Nutrimetics nc Ocean Sands Colour Collection makeup palette and the nc Ocean Sands Lip Crayon Duo’s.

These new colours for summer were inspired by the Tahitian coastlines and feature the latest eye, cheek and lip colours for the season.

14778_Ocean_Sands_Lip_Crayon_DE_150x150Personally I really love the lip crayons because they are super sheer and give your lips a glossy summer tint – perfect for the beach.

They would also make great Christmas gifts for someone special.

Nutrimetics Christmas Catalogue

There are so many lovely things is the Christmas Nutrimetics catalogue that I’m not sure what I’m going to buy! I received my brochure about 2 weeks ago and I think I’ve circled about 6 things that I’d like, but because I’m on a budget (arn’t we all) I’ve narrowed it down to just 2 (or 3 if you count the gorgeous carry bag that you get for peanuts if you spend over $100).

So here are what I’m getting from the Nutrimetics Christmas Catalogue:

moisturisingsystemUltra Care+ Moisturising System

From now until the end of December you can get 2 Moisturising Systems for the price of 1. Up until now I haven’t ever purchased this because it was a little expensive, but I’ve heard so many other Nutrimetics consultants rave about how good it is.

Plus I’ve been doing research on Hyaluronic Acid (which is in it) and it’s really beneficial for smoothing the skin and providing lots of moisture. It basically ‘plumps’ out any lines or wrinkles making you look younger.

I think the 2 for the price of 1 deal is good for Christmas too as you can keep one and give the other away as a gift (but I’m keeping both of mine).

Here is where I have a dilemma. I need a new skincare set because I’ve just run out of my Comfort Set but I’m not sure which one to get next.

I could stick with the safe Comfort set that I know makes my skin look good, or I could go back to my favourite Classic set (I love the smell of the Skin Clean and Skin Fresh products). But then again I could try the Restore Anti-Ageing set. Hmmm.

I’m currently leaning towards the Restore Anti-Ageing set only because I haven’t used it before and it sounds intriguing.

You also get a free pink cosmetic travel bag which I don’t really care about (I already have a million bags). Perhaps I’ll give it to my mum.

And finally I’m in love with this satchel that you can buy for just $12.90 if you spend $100 in the brochure. Isn’t it gorgeous!

That’s all I’m getting, even though I could have easily spend much more because I really like the look of the new Soul Renewal Tahiti Body Butter and the Hearts & Flowers Body Shimmer (I’m a sucker for a body lotion with shimmer in it). Perhaps I’ll get those next month.
